Back to the future

As you may, or may not have noticed a few days ago, I tweeted about purchasing a Nikon F55.

I was encouraged to buy the camera by a friend of mine, Jonathan Gazeley who is my go to for anything photography.

Thinking about it, it's quite a good idea really. I've got a fairly good understanding of the techniques involved with photography now, but don't always put them to use. With a film camera, you don't have much choice. Well, you don't unless you're happy to buy film after film after film!

I've only taken about 5 photos with it so far, and have used my Tamron 90mm Macro lens, and 500mm pre-set telephoto lens with it.

Jonathan has scared me half to death about using the wrong lens with it so I'll probably just stick to those for now!
