Since starting my blog, I hope you've noticed an improvement in my photography, I know I have! I find that now that I've begun religiously entering the photo challenge, and actually thinking about what I'm doing, my photos are becoming more refined.
If you recall my first ever blog entry, you'll remember how I spoke about being completely un-artistic. I'm not claiming that I'm the new Van Gough or anything, but I do feel that this has certainly changed.
However, with this change has come A LOT of frustrations, mainly down to me not having the time to take the shots I'd like. You may have noticed in a lot of my posts about the photo challenge, I'm always complaining how it's not the shot I wanted to take etc...
My most recent frustration is in the form of a tree... I know right?! However, there's something about this tree... I just really want to photograph it! I drive past it all the time during my travels as a letting agent, and as a result, never have time to stop! Couple this with the fact that it's right next to a dual carriage way meaning there isn't actually anywhere to stop, and my hopes of getting the photo that's embedded in to my head are quite low.
I can't describe the scene to you, but I know that the shot in my head would be pretty awesome. I will, one day, share it with you all when I finally get the time to take a few days off and go wandering around the countryside with my camera!
Reading this back I feel kinda silly... but it's been bugging me SO much I just had to share it with you! Have any of you had similar experiences?
