Easter Photo Challenge

Last weeks photo challenge was entitled Easter, I'd suggested it along with a couple of the other participants. I already had an idea in my head, I wanted to try and do some 'Low Key' photography.

This is the photo I decided to submit to the challenge, the egg symbolises new life...



The original photograph was too bright, so I did some editing in Photoshop and cranked up the sharpness to accentuate the wrinkles on my fathers hand. I have never submitted a black and white photo before either, and in my opinion this photo works very well in monochrome.
